They talk every night
Over cables in the sand
They use electronic media
Typing messages by hand
So much in love
Some would not see as fun
Heaven knows how it works
Or how it begun
Never feeling warmth
Or breath upon there face
The confines of the video
Is where there love takes place
Visions on the monitor
Is all that they can see
This is such the way of love
Diverse as could be
There within the computer
Is a word some don’t know
When there’s tears of sadness
Upon the keyboard they flow
With hope and dreams within there mind
Openly there to share
Bound together by electrons
Is how they show they care
Spending there love together
Though continents apart
Never finding reason
For separation in there heart
